Who doesn’t love Spanish beans? I surely do.. So I am going to show my family, friends and followers how to make these beans. It’s simple way to Spanish beans, that can be served with a side brown rice and chicken or eat alone. So let’s get started.
Ingredients are:
1 can of Goya beans
1 package of Sazon Goya
½ package of Goya Ham flavor seasoning
1 medium potato (diced)
2 teaspoons of Dry Cilantro
1 teaspoons of olive oil
½ onion
1 teaspoon of mince garlic (fresh)
½ tomato Paste
½ teaspoon of Sofrito tomato cooking base
½ teaspoon of Recaito tomato cooking base
pinch of black pepper
pinch of crushed red pepper flake .
1/3 cup water.
Directions
Put the olive oil in a small sauce pan, once is warm start putting in the garlic, ½ tsp sofrito, ½ tsp. recaito, ½ dice onion, ½ of tomato paste, and start to stir on low heat, for a few seconds. Then add in the beans, 1 package of sazon, ½ package goya ham flavor seasoning, dice potatoes, pinch of black pepper, pinch of crushed red pepper , 1/3 of water and then 2 tsp of dry cilantro then stir.
The beans and the potatoes should take about 30 minutes to cook on low heat. The potatoes have to be soft but firm, then are you done.
